The most beautiful thing about being a wedding photographer is meeting couples as wonderful as Eluska and Aitor, they radiated love and emotion from the first minute of their wedding day. We started the day in the Hotel Palacio de Yrisarri where the bride and groom got ready (Eluska with a Married Irun dress and Aitor with a Marché suit). We spent the rest of the day there, it was no wonder they wanted to do both the ceremony and the reception there, we can honestly say it was one of the most amazing places we’ve ever worked on. It’s always nice starting the day with our colleagues from Noare Films, who recorded the day for the loving couple, and with Raquel Arocena, my second shooter.
The ceremony was performed by two of Eluska’s friends, Maialen and Marina, they made it so personal and intimate… along with the participation of Eluska’s dad, her sister, Aitor’s sister and a friend of each of them, reading emotional and funny speeches. Eluska’s sister performed a few songs in the piano for the bride and groom, along with two amazing singers who blew our minds. It was definitely amazing, personal an unique.
With such an amazing environment not many was necessary to embelish it, but Julia Tellechea did an amazing job at it, with her altar and the bride’s bouquet. We took a few couple shot right there (again, why move??) and then the reception went great, thanks to the wedding planner Marta Álvarez.
In a nutshell, it was a beautiful day but specially because of the incredible atmosphere made by the bride and groom and their friends and family, thank you all for making us feel at home.
